Tour Itinerary

After breakfast, you will first visit the world's biggest city plaza, the Tiananmen Square. Subsequently, you could enter the Forbidden City which is the most complete imperial palace in China from the Meridian Gate (south gate). Upon stepping inside, can you imagine how grand the Forbidden City is under the strong contrast of yellow glazed tiles and red wall when the surrounding is showing a soughing chill sight?

The next is highlight of this Spring Festival tour. You will be transferred to the old Beijing area. Then you will take a rickshaw to visit the Hutongs. During the festival, you will have a chance to see how the local people past the Spring Festival couplets. Maybe you can see the little boys set off the firecrackers.

Lunch will be arranged at a local family. If you'd like, the host will friendly teach you how to make Chinese dishes.

In the afternoon, enjoy your free time at the hotel. To watch the Spring Festival Gala with all the family member became very popular in China. You can enjoy the Spring Festival Gala from 8:00pm in your room. Please do not worry the language; you can enjoy the CCTV-9 which is the English Channel for foreigners.
