BEIJING, June 4 — Ancient Chinese books happen to be sold off for 216 million yuan (34.two million U.S. dollars) in Beijing, the ah stated Monday evening.

An accumulation of 1,292 ancient books from Guo Yunlou, a library of the Guo family in Suzhou of east China’s Jiangsu province, was offered to some private buyer in the 2012 Beijing Council Spring Auction on Monday evening.

The auction started at 9:35 p.m. and began having a putting in a bid cost of 180 million yuan. A purchaser completed the putting in a bid in the cost of 188 million yuan. The all inclusive costs is 216 million yuan including commission costs.
